As you looked around the shop, your eyes shifted back to the skunk. Sure he seemed friendly but you felt a little awkward with him right behind you. You pretended to glance around as your eyes subtly trailed back to him. And slowly moved down towards his bolts once again. You swear you could hear his toes tapping along the inside of them. You tried to keep these glances subtle to avoid drawing attention from the skunk, but he managed to take notice of your wandering eyes.
“Did you like them?” He suddenly asks snapping you out of your stupor. You looked back up at him curiously and slightly embarrassed. “I saw you looking at my boots. Wasn’t sure if you were interested in something like them.” Quietly gathering your thoughts you figured this was the least awkward way out of this situation. Quietly you nodded at Kicks causing him to smile. “Well just stay right there. I’ll see what I can find for you.” The skunk said as he directed you to a chair.
