Morphological Madness

One bleak cold day with rain pouring relentlessly onto the streets below, someone trudged slowly through the rain. Nothing seemed to counteract the negative atmosphere the weather created. They tried shielding their face from the rain, making them oblivious to the small object laying in front of them, causing them to trip over. "For the love of..." They started cursing and ranting, picking up the foreign object and preparing to throw it until, in the gleam of the emerging sun, they saw what seemed like alien symbols on the sides.
