Sometimes Danny just hated the holidays. Yeah, there was no school but that also meant no friends, no screwing teachers over or flirting with cute girls in the years above him (he got shot down every time but it’s the thought that counts, right?). He was currently lounged back on his bed, checking his Facebook for anything interesting.
Danny groaned as he saw pictures of all his mates going on vacation all across the globe; Rick had gone to France with his Mum and siblings. He had a picture of him giving the Eiffel Tower a two finger salute while his mum and his 6 brothers and sisters milled around.
Gazza meanwhile had accompanied his mother on a vacation to Los Angeles. He’d taken a cool picture of him and his mum riding in a glossy scarlet Corvette convertible with the roof down in front of the Hollywood sign. Danny grinned and swiftly saved the picture to his photo library; even though he and Rick RELISHED taunting Garry about his fit Mum, Danny had to admit that she was actually pretty damn hot in her shades and low cut top.
Danny surfed around for a while and just scanned through the dozens of his photos and posts his classmates had put up. For God’s sake, even my sister’s gone away without ME! Megan was making a Devil’s horns sign as she and her bandmates stood inside an arena for a rock concert.
Great... Danny closed his screen as he began to sulk. Almost immediately after Danny heard a PING! noise coming from the computer. Probably Megan trying to congratulate herself, he thought. He heard the ping noise again, sighing as he reluctantly flipped open the screen. He yawned as he saw that his computer had changed, its neutral white background being replaced by a pixelated green, gold and black screensaver. On it were bold white letters saying ’Photoswap’.
Danny scrolled down and saw some text attached. ”Ever felt jealous of somebody else,” Danny read, ”Or just wanted to experience what it would be like living in their shoes? “What the hell is this?” Danny mumbled to himself as he accepted the terms and conditions. He pulled up the browser and saw rows of different body parts, personality traits, even relationships and sexual orientation. Damn, that’s a lot of stuff.”
