However, today was a much different day for Ixchel. One of the few days out of the year where she can blend in with some of the local nerds. It was the yearly Cosplay Convention where nerds from all across the country could dress up as their favorite characters from all sorts of media from games to anime. And Ixchel was a notable repeat participant since she was a teenager.
Ixchel looked at herself in the mirror as she dressed as her feline taxabi rogue character from her previous Dungeons and Dragons campaigns.
"Hmm...not bad. Think I got as close as I could when I imagined it." Ixchel said, containing her excitement about how she was able to attend the convention yet again and also to be out of the house and away from her noisy housemates.
Peeking out of her room, she made sure the coast was clear as she silently crept out of her room and she went right to the front door, got it open, and slipped right out. She then ran right towards her car, slipped right in as she drove all the way to the convention center.
She approached the doors to the center, taking a deep breath was she walked right on in. She was ready to enjoy a day without her housemates.
