"Bigger boobs, and a bigger butt." Beth answered, "You've gotta be balanced, with an hourglass physique." She was drawing an hourglass in the air in front of her.
Realising she didn't recognise the voice. She whirled around to see the source of the voice. It had been only a whisper, but she'd felt their breath against her neck, ruffle her hair.
Worryingly there was no-one there. The door stubbornly closed, and no trace of anyone else in the room.
She suspected it was Emma pranking her, determined to catch her friend. To prove she wasn't the ditz that Emma seemed to think she was. She explored the room, looking beneath the bed.... nobody there.... But a lot of cobwebs, that made her skin crawl.
Spotting the ornate wardrobe, she approached on tip-toe. Hoping none of the floorboards squeaked in protest.
"Ahh Ha!" she cried, yanking the doors open.
Nobody was inside, but the cloud of flying dust hid that from her sight, the rapid blinking and coughing undermining her hoped for triumph.
The clothes inside seemed well preserved, though the smell could account for that. Whatever it was, would surely deter any insects from destroying the clothes.
A quick shuffling of the hangers confirmed nobody was hiding in the wardrobe. Frustrated, she turned, only then spotting the ottoman at the foot of the bed. Easily big enough to hide someone as petite and sneaky as Emma. She walked over to it. Too late to pretend she was being stealthy, she wrenched the top wide.
She spotted the range of victorian underwear inside. All looking too bulky to be sexy, she shifted the top layer, only to discover the range of corsets beneath. She kicked it in frustration, picking out a corset she held it against her middle. Wondering who'd wear such a confining item. It just looked so uncomfortable, so inflexible.
