Genji examined the artifact he now held in his hands, having just swiped it during an infiltration mission at a Talon base. He was back at Overwatch's HQ now, curiously studying the thing when Tracer popped her head in the doorway with a smile. "Genji! Whatchu got there, luv?" The british woman asked as she darted to his side. Genji chuckled and looked at her. "Hello, Lena. I was simply... checking out this strange object I uncovered on my last assignment." The ninja explained, a nagging urge now in the back of his mind since his friend had shown up, a compulsion of sorta that made him grip the object a bit tighter. Now he couldn't help but run his gaze over Tracer's form, her tight fitting suit on those nicely toned legs, the cute yet cool cut of her hair...
He was brought out of thought by the woman continuing. "Ah! Yeah, 's bit strange in'it? Looks like some kinda magic wand out of a movie! Spooky!" She remarked with her usual peppy enthusiasm. "Indeed." Genji simply responded, glancing back at Tracer once more. In that moment, the wand in his hand began to react, and very suddenly Genji felt something... shift. A blink, and he looked back to Tracer... only to find himself looking back at him! "W-what?!" He exclaimed in shock, with the person identical to him tilting their head in confusion. "Genji? Ya alright there, luv?" Genji felt his jaw slack in shock, looking down at himself suddenly. It was then he noticed... he wasn't exactly "himself" at the moment, garbed out in Tracer's outfit and more notably, her very body. "Lena? Why do I look... like you..." Genji began to ask, but trailed off. It was weird hearing Tracer's voice as he spoke, especially since it lacked her distinct English accent when he wielded it. Almost as if responding to that thought, he felt the artifact react again. The person he presumed to be Tracer (in his own body) again looked very confused. "What are you saying? You look the same as always!" This time his own body lacked Tracer's accent, replaced with his own.
That was odd, he had exchanged bodies with her, even distinct traits, yet only he noticed. He looked down at the artifact in his hands and suddenly put two and two together. "Ah... r-righto. I must be... knackered, from that last mission. Sorry." Genji responded, now with Tracer's usual tone of speech naturally falling out of his mouth like he'd spoken that way his entire life. Tracer simply shrugged and began to walk away. "Alright, let me know if you require anything." She said over her shoulder before vanishing through the doorway. Now that he was alone, Genji quickly unbuckled the chrono-device and let it fell to the ground, removing Tracer's goggles from her head as well. He stared down at his now smaller, more petite gloved hands with his mouth gawking in awe. "Blimey."
