Bunsen turned to look over at you expectantly, and you sighed. "I suppose I may not have any other choice in the matter. I don't have the knowledge or expertise to fit all the pieces back together, so I'd have to leave her in your capable hands. I wish that there was more than I could've done, but I recognize that no matter how much I want to try I can't fix everything."
Bunsen laid a reassuring hand on your shoulder. " Don't worry. I'm sure that I'll be able to figure something out. In the meantime, you should avoid beating yourself up for something you can't change. You're not the one who destroyed her, Koopa did. There's nothing you could've done to prevent it so there's no point in crying about it."
That made you smile despite yourself. "You're right, Bunsen. I really should stop worrying so much. I'll let you have the parts to tinker around with while I head off to work on other things."
