AUTHOR'S NOTE:For the purposes of storytelling and possible nicknaming, I'll be working on the assumption that MC's name is Daniel. Since size was also a thing not discussed, I'm going to assume that Daniel will be starting out at about four feet tall.
The way Bowsette grins at you sends shivers up your spine. Though you try to muffle it and hide it, you sniffle a little as you tremble at the woman's somewhat frightening demeanor before you. A look of... Almost shock crosses Bowsette's face as your tears of fright do not go unnoticed by her, and she reaches out towards you. You try to run, but you can't get even a few short steps away before you feel Bowsette's soft, feminine, and yet undeniably strong hands wrap under your arms, hoisting you up until she holds you close to her body soothingly.
"Shh, it's okay. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you. You're alright, little boy. Shh, shh..." She cooed very softly, much softer than you would've thought would come from her.
On the outside, she looks like she'd be a prickly person. Literally. Her shell has several sharp looking spikes protruding from it. And that's not to mention all the spiky jewelry and the two horns coming out of her skull. And don't get me started on those deadly-looking teeth in her mouth. As pretty as they are, they're also quite sharp.
Yet you can't help but feel like this last assumption is a gross misconception of her true character. The way she's carefully holding you up in her embrace, cuddling you softly and gently kissing your cheek every now and then apologetically is nothing short of projecting soothing and extremely peaceable feelings. You begin to calm down very quickly, until you are amicably sitting on her hip, grudgingly feeling much better than before.
You notice that she's tall. Granted, your first impression of her had kind of been that of a giantess to begin with, but she was TALL. You barely might've come up to her hip if she set you down on the ground. As it was, perched on her hip like you currently were, you were just about eye level with her. As she cuddled up with you, you felt like her body was like an electric blanket; she was VERY comfortably warm to cuddle with, which didn't help you feel less embarrassed about your current situation.
Despite feeling much better than before, you were also still quite concerned about what plans exactly Bowsette had for you. You looked down at your hands awkwardly as you fiddled and fidgeted nervously.
"You're... You're not going to hurt me?" You ask quietly.
You knew basically who Bowsette was supposed to be, more or less. Your older brother had once said something about a character named Bowsette from one of his video games. As you recall, it was the same character as Bowser from Mario games, once he put on something called the Super Crown. You didn't recall ever hearing anything about Bowsette being real, but right now she seemed pretty real. And you didn't want to get on Bowser's/Bowsette's bad side...
"Now why would I do that??" Bowsette said, almost gruffly.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Bowser, sir... Er, um... Ms. Bowser?" You whimper, trying your best to shrink back into a shell you didn't have.
Bowsette's expression fell a little, growing a bit more grumpy than before.
"It's been a long while since someone compared me to my ex-husband, and I'd rather keep it that way, thank you. But no, I will not hurt you like my ex would, rest assured."
You sniffles a little and looked up at the woman gently holding you. "Y-you mean you aren't Bowser under some kinda spell from the crown?"
Suddenly Bowsette started laughing, the high pitched sounds ringing delightfully in your ears as she tried to compose herself. Her eyes held a genuine grin as she sputtered slowly to a stop, rubbing your back softly with her soft hands.
"I assure you, if my ex WAS under such a spell, he'd immediately fall right to pieces, in possibly more ways than one. He prides himself too much on his masculinity to stand losing it to become a woman. Besides, like that burnt-brain turtle could pass for me. Do I look anything like a Koopa to you? I mean, aside from the tail and shell, you can't really tell, can you?"
"N-no ma'am!" You say, shaking your head since you're still worried.
"Ah, smart answer. But in all seriousness, I do not like being reminded of my ex-husband if it can be avoided, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't ask further about him, other than what's absolutely necessary." Bowsette says, smiling kindly on you. "After all, he's not exactly the, ah, most beloved of gentlemen in these parts of the galaxies."
Bowsette turns and begins to walk off in some direction, with you still perched on her hip. While normally you would argue that you should've stayed where you were for someone to come find you, you had a feeling that it would've been an argument you were likely to win. And even if you did, you weren't confident that you'd be found by anyone you knew.
As she walked and kept gently cuddling you, you tried asking another question. "Um, then Ms. Bowsette?" You tried.
"Please, just Bowsette." The woman smiled.
"B-Bowsette? What exactly are you planning on doing with me?" You ask timidly.
"Well right now, I'm going to take you back to my castle, so we can get you cleaned up a little and something to eat, little Daniel. But if you're talking about what I plan to do with you in the long run... Well, I suppose that's for me to figure out and you to find out, sweetheart." Bowsette said, shifting your weight on her hip to make you a teense more comfortable. "Now shh. You've had an exhausting day, and I'm sure that you're all tired out from all this new information."
"B-But--" you begin, but Bowsette hushes you with a slender finger.
"Shhhh. Let me take care of it. Just rest."
As though a command had been issued, you suddenly feel your eyes begin to droop, your cheek falling softly against Bowsette's exposed shoulder as you fail to notice her index finger glowing slightly reddishly as she lets it trail down the length of your nose softly, before chuckling once.
"You're cute when you sleep, kiddo." She mutters, giving you a tender kiss on the cheek before beginning to walk again, patting your back as she does so.
When you wake up, you find yourself...
