Chapter #4

Delicious Farmhouse Breakfast

    by: Unknown
You paced back and forth across the wooden table, keeping one eye trained on the path in front of you, and one eye trained on the increasing number of waitresses and restaurant patrons milling about. You knew a wrong move could send you tumbling to the floor, where all sorts of horrible accidents would no doubt simply be waiting to occur.

As the minutes passed, you started to wonder what was taking Chelsea so long in the bathroom. The thought even popped into your head to venture across the restaurant to the bathroom to check up on her, but you quickly shot down this plan. You assured yourself that your giantess friend was fine, and that heading over to the bathroom to investigate was merely a recipe for disaster. You had more terrible stories involving giantesses and bathrooms than you liked to admit.

Across the restaurant, Sadie was waiting patiently to scoop up the two plates for the cute girl and her even cuter tiny boyfriend from the kitchen chefs, when she was approached by the restaurant supervisor.

“Sadie, I need you to do something.” The supervisor said, adjusting her glasses. Unlike everyone else, the supervisor dressed in business casual and spoke without a Southern accent. After all, she was rarely seen outside of her office.

Sadie, ever the optimist, was caught off guard, and began to sweat. “Uh…yeah, sure…I mean, of course ma’am! Whatever I can do, I’ll do it the best I can! Ya can count on me ma’am!”

The supervisor allowed a rare smile to show. “You’re not in trouble Sadie. We’re simply much busier than expected. I need you out there seating and collecting orders. Let kitchen staff serve, if we need them to. In fact, I’ll take your two plates.” The supervisor had been a waitress at one time, and was still quite adept at carrying multiple plates at once, even with precariously balanced drink glasses included on the plate.

“Really?” Sadie gushed. “Tha’ would be a big help ma’am! They go to booth twelve!” The blonde waitress explained, before turning on her heel and rushing back out of the kitchen. Of course, in her haste, she failed to mention the presence of a tiny man at the booth. Thusly unaware of this, the supervisor waited a minute for the two plates to be ready, and briskly strolled out of the kitchen to booth twelve.

Meanwhile, you were pacing as normal, when a shadow fell over the table, and you stopped dead in your tracks. Expecting it to be Chelsea, you put on a sly smile and turned slowly around, only to come face to face with a lean black stomach, held in a tightly buttoned dress shirt. Glancing up slowly, you didn’t even get a glimpse of the giantess now standing in front of you, before a humongous white object crashed down onto you.

Seeing the table empty, the supervisor simply dropped the two plates onto the table, failing to notice the one-inch tall man half squished under one of the plates. “Well, they must be in the bathroom. They’ll figure it out when they get back. Sadie didn’t tell me who ordered what.” The supervisor quietly thought aloud, before turning on her heel and walking back to the kitchen.

Groaning, you pulled and pulled, just barely managing to slip your deflated legs out from under the dining plate that had just been unceremoniously dumped onto you. Flopping back onto the table, you gave yourself half a second to breathe and reform your legs, before standing back up. Admiring the delicious meal spread out before you, you shot a quick thank-you prayer up to whatever divine being had granted tinies the beneficial side-effect of having a simple restaurant plate turn into a literal mountain of food.

Earlier, you had decided to wait for Chelsea to return before digging into your breakfast, but that unspoken promise had now flown from your mind. The mouth-watering smells practically assaulted you, drowning you in drool-worthy deliciousness. Unable to control your animalistic urges, you scrambled up onto your plate and dashed towards the nearest piece of meat, ripping a big (though ultimately imperceptible to anyone else) chunk out of the greasy sausage.

Riding on a warm, farmhouse breakfast high, you raced over to the French toast, scarfed down a few mouthfuls, and then practically jumped into the goopy mass of scrambled eggs. Laughing like a kid, you shoveled handfuls into your gullet, barely pausing to breathe. You didn’t even care that your glass of milk was impossibly high, no doubt any oversight on the kitchen staff’s part. You were having a blast, and feeling nice and full.

Pushing open the bathroom swing doors, Chelsea casually strolled back to her booth, momentarily taken aback by the noticeably more crowded restaurant. She had, after all, been in the bathroom for over ten minutes. Some of that time had been spent embarrassingly fretting over her flustered reaction to Sadie’s innocent “girlfriend” remark. She had chided herself in front of the mirror for feeling so anxious, consoling herself that you were totally just her squishy little friend.

But, then she realized she actually needed to use the bathroom, and so had taken the time to relieve herself, wash her hands, and then engaged in a brief conversation with a different friendly waitress who entered the bathroom to clean up a bit. Now, ten minutes later, Chelsea walked back to the booth, hoping that you wouldn’t be too mad at her for being away for a while.

An apology forming in her mind immediately left as she spotted the two delightfully tasty plates resting on the table. Grinning gleefully, Chelsea slid into her seat and reached for her fork, before pausing and frowning. After a moment of hesitation, the titanic brunette spoke.

“Oh. They just switched up the plates. I ordered the sausage, not bacon.” Chelsea stated, to no one in particular. In one simple motion, she grabbed both plates and swiftly switched them around. With her correct plate now in front of her, Chelsea once again reached for her fork.

You had been so engrossed in eating that you didn’t even notice Chelsea’s return to the table until she spoke. You let out a startled cry from sheer surprise, and craned your neck up to look at your giantess dormmate, fully expecting her to be smiling wryly down at you, teasing you for gorging yourself without waiting for her.

Instead, you felt your world rocket into hyper speed as Chelsea moved the plates, your body lurching forward and slamming into the scrambled eggs. Your face buried deep down into the eggs, and you instantly started squirming and panicking. That ended up being the worst possible thing to do, as your uncalculated acts of panic upset the delicately balanced pile of scrambled eggs, and more goopy yolk soon ran down over your body, further burying you and hiding you from view.

Picking up her fork, Chelsea grinned quite ravenously, an expression that would’ve struck fear into your heart had you seen it, sipped from her milk and prepared to dig into her meal. Right before she did so, she paused, and glanced over at your side of the table. Frowning, it finally dawned on the starved giantess that her tiny little friend was nowhere to be seen.

“Wait…Tom? Where did you go?” She whispered, leaning over the table. You weren’t on the table, you weren’t on your plate (Chelsea had already forgotten switching the plates a moment earlier), and you weren’t on the seat. She had absolutely no idea where you had disappeared to, and tried to think where you might’ve run off to. However, it was hard for her to think over her stomach’s incessant rumbling.
