"White Whale Candy Bars?" Callie tilted her head quizzically "I've never heard of that brand."
"yeah, no dip, dummy. That's why they want us to promote them." Marie gave Callie a gentle, teasing elbow to the ribs. "But what I'm interested in is how much they're paying us for it. Take a look."
Callie's eyes nearly popped out of her head. "That's a lotta zeroes!" The idol squealed in surprise. "I could finally buy that 4-wheeler I've been eyeing!"
Marie shook the thought from her head of what her cousin wanted with a 4-wheeler. "So are we agreed on taking them up on the offer?"
"Hang on a sec. Don't you think it's a bit suspicious that we're getting paid so much for something neither of us have ever heard of?"
"C'mon, Callie, this is through our agency. I'm sure they do a million checks on things like this. If anything was fishy, it wouldn't have even gotten in my inbox."
Callie nodded contentedly. "I guess you're right, I'm just being a silly squid! So what does this sponsorship entail?"
"Looks like we just have to do a brief ad segment on our show and eat a couple of their candy bars every day. They'll even send us a bunch of free boxes so we have a supply."
"Sounds good, let's do it!"
Marie hit reply and typed out a quick affirmative email. Next time they were in the studio, they'd be promoting and eating White Whale Candy Bars.
