Weiss glanced around the school grounds, trying to reconcile the thoughts bouncing around her head. All logic and common sense dictated that there was no way something like this could work. Coming from Atlas, she was very familiar with the latest technology, and nothing even remotely close to this had ever been developed. However, the instruction manual was so detailed, and the remote so meticulously crafted, that her curiosity couldn't help but be piqued. That was the only reason she hadn't bothered to simply throw this away like the trash it was yet. The longer she stood contemplating, though, the more the other students nearby would find it odd that she was just standing around holding a TV remote. She didn't exactly want her fellow classmates to think her strange, and especially didn't want to leave a bad impression on the students visiting for the Vytal Festival.
She shook her head, clearing her thoughts. "This is ridiculous," she mumbled to herself. "Something like this could never work." She decided to simply humour her curiosity quickly before tossing it. There was no sense trying to plan something out for searching for a target. There were enough students milling about that she could just point the remote at one of them and press a button. Despite not believing that the remote would actually work, Weiss at least had the sense to try something small. A body part swap should suffice. She didn't particularly care what part swapped, seeing as the remote was clearly a farce anyway, and she didn't see the worth in taking yet more time out of her day to decide on which part of herself she'd be willing to hypothetically swap away. She'd recognise whether it was or wasn't working all the same. And so, as she began to walk over to the nearest trash can, Weiss pointed the remote at a nearby crowd of students and pressed the button for a body part swap, and selected a random option, not bothering to pay attention to what she'd selected or who she'd targeted.
