Weiss was shocked awake by the sound of her alarm. She groaned against her own time limit, but dragged herself out of bed nonetheless. She needed to work fast… so she could get back to sleep just as quickly. Even if Weiss loved her idea when she was awake, now that it was in the middle of the night, she just wanted to get back to bed. With the speed and enthusiasm of a limp sloth, Weiss approached Yang’s bunk.
Blake did her best to cover her ears and fall back to slumber, but it was impossible. That infernal buzzing from Weiss’s ear buds just wouldn’t stop! What was she even doing setting something like that to go off in the middle of the night!? Blake endeavored to ignore it until morning, when she had the energy to deal with the Ice Queen’s antics, but when Weiss approached her side of the room, now Blake had to investigate.
Blake rose from her blankets. Weiss was standing on top of Blake’s bed, peering over at Yang above. Undoubtedly another rivalry had set up between the two. Now if only they could settle it without waking Blake…
“Weiss…” Blake begged in a low voice. No response.
“Weiss!” This time the princess reacted. The sudden shout not only knocked Weiss out of her trance, but knocked her off balance. Weiss came tumbling down, right on top of Blake. She felt something cold and metallic hit her stomach before Weiss herself landed on top.
“GAH! BLAKE!?” Weiss screamed in a voice not her own. She quickly clasped her hands over her mouth. That wasn’t a good sign.
“Weiss! Get off of me! Cough Ugh, what's with my voice?” That really wasn't good... Not only did the remote go off, but both Blake and Weiss were aware of it!
