Chapter #3Nora by: Zone   The door to Team JNPR’s door opened with a bang and the hyperactive ginger barged in.

“Guys!” Nora Valkyrie called out to the rest of the team. “Stop what you’re doing!” The door slammed shut behind her.
“What kept you?” The tall, blonde haired leader of the team, Jaune Arc, asked. “You’re the one who wanted to go Grimm hunting today.”
“We were just about to go look for you,” Pyrrha Nikos added. She had just put on the bronze circlet under her bright red hair.
“Skip the Grimm hunting,” Nora ordered, waving her hand dismissively. “I got something better.” At her words, the other two turned to the final member of their team in shock. Ren, the resident ninja sitting on the edge of his bed in a green tailcoat.
“I’m not sure why you two are looking at me,” he said to them and then turned to Nora. “Are you feeling okay?”
“I’m just great, Renny.” Nora bounced on her feet anxiously. “You see, I found something amazing just laying in the grass.” She pulled a hand from behind her back and help up a small black device. “Tada! The most powerful object in the universe!”
“A remote?” Pyrrha asked. “What’s so special about it?” This wouldn’t be the first time Nora over exaggerated about something. However, her stories were always entertaining so she wanted to hear more.
“It has the power to swap things between people. Bodies, names, even lives,” Nora bragged and then looked downtrodden as none of her teammates looked all that impressed. “Come on! This is amazing! Think of all the fun we could have!”
“Are you sure you don’t want to lie down?” Ren asked, his brow furrowing slightly. “I’ll make you something to eat.”
“I’m not sick!” Nora protested and held up a pamphlet. “It even came with instructions.” She pushed it into Jaune’s hands before he could say anything. “Take a look, Fearless Leader.” Jaune smiled indulgently and scanned through the paper.
“This sounds like a scam,” Jaune muttered softly. “Still, these instructions seem rather detailed.” He handed the paper to Pyrrha. “What do you think, Pyr?”
“I don’t see how this could work,” Pyrrha admitted, after reading it and passing it onto Ren. “This is impossible. It defies every law of physics.”
“Sounds like a child’s toy,” Ren agreed, after he read it. “Have you tried it out, Nora?”
“Yep!” Nora beamed at him. “I swapped hair with Yang.” She brushed back her long golden hair that reached her waist. “Didn’t you guys notice?”
“But you’ve always had blonde hair,” Jaune pointed out. “Always surprised it doesn’t get in the way of fighting since you don’t pull it back like Pyrrha.”
“That’s because it’s not mine,” Nora explained. “Here, hold the remote while I hit the Reset Button.” The others shared a look and obliged. It wasn’t like Nora was giving them a choice. Jaune, Pyrrha, and Ren placed a hand on the remote and Nora hit a button. There was a flash of green light and then nothing.
“So what… Nora, you’re hair!” Pyrrha gasped.
“Right, it’s supposed to be short and orange,” Jaune remembered.
“This is astounding,” Ren added.
“If you hold the remote you remember the changes,” Nora reminded them, as they had all read the instructions. “I wasn’t sure if the Reset Button would make you remember a swap you weren’t there for if you were touching it, but it looks like it did.”
“Sorry we didn’t believe you,” Jaune apologized. “There was no reason for you to make something like this up.”
“Sorry,” Pyrrha agreed.
“Good.” Nora crossed her arms and gazed at them superiority. “As long as you learned your lesson.”
“So what did you have planned for this remote?” Ren asked and there was a tiny bit of nervousness to his voice.
“Team bonding exercise!” Nora answered immediately.
“Team bonding exercise?” The others repeated.
