A bright light woke Dimitri, he didn't knew where he was, the last thing he remembered was a battle at Gronder Field and then a portal sucking him away from the battle.
"Ugh" he grunted, the light annoying his remaining eye.
"I think he's waking up!" a voice shrieked, he couldn't place to who it belonged, fearing the worse.
When he open his eyes he saw a familiar face, Lysithea but she looked different, she was wearing an odd looking white garb, "Lysithea?" he asked.
"Did he say my name?" she answered looking at someone else.
"You're just hearing things, he just mumbled something" a more deep voice answer, it sounded tired, sleepy and Dimitri had an idea of to who it belonged, he slightly moved his head to confirm his suspicions, it belonged to Linhardt also wearing an odd garb.
"Linhardt?" Dimitri almost shouted, if he was here, did that meant he was captured?
"See now he said your name! Who is this guy?" Lysithea sounded sacred, why would he not know them.
"Fine, he does know us, why don't you let him wake up and ask him?" Linhardt sounded annoyed.
"But look at him, he had a spear and that weird clothes, what if he's a ghost!" she shrieked.
Linhardt sighed, "Fine, I'll ask him" he proceeded to walk next to Dimitri, "Hey you, who are you and how did you end in that alley?"
"Alley? What are you talking about, I was in a battle and you two were there, we are we now?" Dimitri demanded to know.
"Battle? Are you insane? Look at me so I really look like I belong in a battle?" Linhardt spat back.
"Don't play dumb with me Linhardt, tell me where she's hiding, I need to make them stop" he grunted at him.
"Make who stop?" Lysithea wondered.
"The voices of the fallen, their ghost still haunt me and her death is the only thing that will make then stop" he yelled, clutching at his chest, they had taken his lance but he still had his armor.
"G-ghosts?! I told he was cursed" Lysithea shrieked, running out if the room.
Linhardt sighed yet again as he facepalm "Why can't I meet a single normal person" he turned to the door of the room and yelled, "Ghost aren't real Lysithea!" he then turned back to Dimitri, "You say you hear voices?"
"Yes, sometimes I can see them, they demand vengeance" Dimitri answered, practically shaking as he said.
"I see, what's your name?"
"I'm Dimitri, you already know me, we went to the academy together, now could you tell me where his your wicked Emperor, I have to kill her!" he scowled at him.
"Well Dimitri, I have no idea who this Emperor his but I'm sure you're suffering from some kind of mental illness, I'm Dr Linhardt Hevring and my colleague, Dr Lysithea Ordelia, just ran away but I sweat she more professional" he sat in the bed next to him, something in his presence was oddly calming for Dimitri, "Tell me Dimitri, would you like to stop seeing this 'ghost' as you call them?"
"Yes, that's why I need to kill her..."
"Violence rarely solves anything, specially mental problems, you are a particular... interesting subject, if you stay here we will be able to help you, we can even treat your wounds" he pointed to the cracks of his armor, "You seem to have many"
Dimitri tough about it for a moment, deducing that the portal must have taken him to some kind of odd parallel dimension, and if he was here that meant she was here and he needed to get the upper hand on here, knowing how this place worked could be the advantage he needed, not to mention he needed to treat his wounds, "Very well, I'll stay with you... Dr Hevring" the title seemed odd to him bit Linhardt looked pleased by his answer.
"Good, I'll go get and Dr Ordelia and we'll examine you" he proceeded to leave the room, leaving Dimitri alone, thinking where Dedue was but most importantly where she was.
