Evan laid on the warm sands, peacefully resting as the bright sun shined on his body. The combination of the heat and the few hours of sleep he had left him tired. The lion was just about to drift off to sleep when he noticed through his closed eyes that something was eclipsing the sun. Yet the moment Evan opened his eyes, a cloud of sand hit his face. Bellowing laughter was be heard as he brushed the sand from his face.
When the lion could see again, he saw the culprit. Standing in front of him was an obese fox. Probably six feet tall and pushing past four hundred pounds, a red furry globe of a gut jutted out from the fox's midsection and hung far below the waistline of his swim suit, and two melon-like sacks of pudge rested on top of the mound. The fox's arms and legs were padded out with soft lard, and his face was accompanied by a thick second chin and puffed up cheeks which nearly closed up his eyes as he laughed.
"What the hell, man?" yelled Evan as he got up from the ground.
"Beach's for locals only!" the fox yelled back as he stiffed his laughter.
"Stupid idiot! I live here!"
The fox stopped laughing and eyed Evan up and down. The lion hopped this wouldn't end in a fight; that fox had the clear height and weight advantage. "Bullshit. Go back to your fancy resort beaches. If I see your skinny ass around these parts again, I'll pound you into the sand!" The fox turned around to walk away. Evan noticed the strain his heavy rump was making on the back of his trunks.
Furious, Evans stewed in his anger. What made that fox think he can bully people around, regardless of if they're a local or not? As he watched the fox waddle away, plans formed in his head for revenge.
However, Evan just got to this city and it was pretty early to start making enemies. It sounded like the fox had legitimate grievances against the tourists who flock to Port Zaftig. Maybe if he talked to the fox, he'll find out what made him so upset in the first place.
Or perhaps Evan ought to just let this whole thing go. Sure, the guy was a jerk. But there was no need to escalate the matter.
