"Lucas!" yelled Mr. Prosciutto. "Did you eat an entire pan of sausage last night?"
"No! I didn't!" said the red fox. "I don't even like sausage!"
"Bullcrap! I saw you eating it an hour ago!" the hog spouted. "I may not be able to fire the owner's kid, but I sure as hell can make his life miserable!"
Evan snickered himself as he chopped away at an onion he was slicing. The sausage was quite delicious, though it had taken the lion some time to devour the entire pan. Yet he was getting used to it. Over the course of a couple of weeks, the lion managed to stealthily consume entire huge containers of shredded cheese, ungodly amounts of pepperoni and sausage, hundreds of mushrooms, thousands of olives, and loads of more pizza toppings. And as more and more ingredients went missing, Lucas was getting all the blame. And judging by the tone of Mr. Prosciutto, he was getting in some real hot water
The lion burped a bit, feeling a bit of stomach acid climb up his throat. Patting his stomach, he made a mental note to pick up some antacids on the way home. His stomach, thanks to all the food he was sneaking away, had ballooned up into a small belly, soft and doughy as pizza dough. The lion didn't mind putting on a few pounds, especially if it meant sticking it to Lucas. Besides, the lion reasoned, it wasn't like anyone was going to notice the new ball of fun under his extremely baggy work shirt though his pants were getting a little tight.

Closing time was upon Purgatory Pizza again. Once more, Evan was making the rounds between his workstation and the walk-in refrigerator putting away ingredients that were unused that day. As he dropped off pan after pan of ingredients into the chilled room, he scoped out what delicious things to devour tonight. Many of the other employees had left, so Evan left like he could go hog wild here and not get caught.
Stacked in the corner were boxes of cookie dough. Purgatory Pizza sold enormous cookies, each easily the size of Evan's paw. Each box had layers and layers of chilled cubes of dough waiting to be popped into the oven. The lion had loved cookie dough and could use the evening to see how much of a dent he could put into one of those big boxes of frozen cookie dough.
Also sitting in the refrigerator were trays loaded with massive balls of pizza dough, ready to be rolled out and turned into a mouthwatering pizza. But Purgatory Pizza was offering a new dough for their pizza, one covered in cheese and garlic and spices and they smelled delicious. Just one doughball was the size of a football, but enough of these went missing, then Mr. Prosciutto would absolutely freak out considering how much it costs to make them.
