He politely takes the knife and fork provided and places them on the salon table in front of him. Simone was a little curious what he was up to, but seeing his hungry gaze made it quite evident what was about to happen. Chester carefully lifted the plate and opened his maw wide. Rows of gleaming, pointy teeth lined around a dark gullet. It was a frightening sight for her, but she knew he'd never think about using them on her. The chicken on the other hand, was not so lucky.
Chester tore in to his food with the fevered zeal of a starving animal. His big maw effortlessly chomped through the cooked bird, undeterred by bones or other things Simone might opt out of. In 10 seconds flat he'd wolfed down everything on his plate, looking up to see the look of mild shock on his date's face.
"Oh... oh my... I'm sorry. It's just that it smelled so nice and... I just got... uhm... carried away." He smiles awkwardly, embarrassed by what he'd just done. Thankfully Simone was willing to defuse the situation with a polite laugh.
"Haha, I'll take it as a compliment to my cooking." She ate some of her own plate. She had nailed the recipe, no wonder Chester went feral on that chicken. She was half tempted to grab her leg of chicken and tear into it herself as a joke. "Yeah..." He just stammered.
"Aw, it's okay." Simone said, putting down her plate. "You're still my gentle soft cuddle-bear." She leans in closer, brushing up against his densely furred side. She had only talked to him through the app before, where he boasted about being like a big, living teddy bear. Now she was finally laid against the werebear's side and she had to conclude that he was grossly underselling just how soft he was. She expected it to be a little coarse and bristly, but it felt like he had taken a bath in conditioner before, his fur was soft and smooth as velvet.
