"Just be cool, Hugo, just be cool," the giant said to himself as he stepped out of the rift the MONSTR app created for the Monsters dating humans, and onto the front lawn of his potential date.
Like all the giants of his particular race, Hugo was fair skinned and blonde, and rather handsome. He was about a foot taller than average, and though he wasn't dumb, he was a bit sow compared to other giants. So when the time came, he was one of the few of his friends who didn't go to university.
But Hugo's secret shame was that he was a pervert. At least by Giant Standards.
For one thing, although most Giants "liked it rough," Hugo was the gentle sort. Maybe this was a reaction to the fact he was was always bigger than the other giants, even when he was growing up. Most giants would naturally give in to their bullying instincts. But for some reason, Hugo's reaction was to go the other way.
Hugo didn't have much luck with giant women either. He had the looks and the equipment that attracted giant women, but Hugo much preferred "rubbing" rather than "penetrating." And Hugo's inherent gentleness was a complete turnoff to potential giantess lovers.
And Hugo was secretly sexually attracted to human women.
Most giants detest humans, least of all because of their long history of being on the losing side of any and all conflicts with humanity. If a human was found in the land of the giants, the human was firmly escorted out of giant land. No harm was ever done to the intruding human, for fear of a human retaliation. But most giants liked to pretend humans didn't exist, unless forcibly confronted with their reality.
But not Hugo. Hugo had been fascinated by humans ever since learning about them in elementary school. And when Hugo started going through puberty, his fascination became sexual fantasies about human women.
Hugo had the good sense not to share his fantasies with any other giants.
When the MONSTR app came along, Hugo wanted instantly to download it. Unfortunately for him, the app was almost immediately illegal in giant land. It took him forever to get a pirated copy of the app,
When he did, Hugo put in for a two week vacation at work, explaining he would be going on a backpacking trip to a remote region of Giant Land.
Truthfully, most of his co-workers could care where he went, and probably wouldn't notice if he never returned.
Hugo eagerly started going through the app, and when he came across a dark beauty named Donna, he immediately swiped right, And to his surprise and delight, Donna indicated she wanted a date with him!
So here he was, on her front lawn. To a curious onlooker, no one would see anything but an empty lawn. The app projected that illusion.
Hugo knelt down in front of the door and gently tapped on it. Moments later, Donna stepped out of the door, looking even more beautiful than even her picture. He admired how her dark, straight hair hung past her shoulders, how her brown eyes radiated warmth, how the loose T-shirt didn't conceal her prominent breasts, or how the jeans revealed a firm butt and slightly narrow but still womanly hips.
Hugo was so enraptured by Donna's appearance that she had to repeat herself twice.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?" Hugo asked, embarrassed.
"I said it was very nice to meet you, and I would invited you in, but..." Donna gestured at her parent's living room and then at Hugo's height. Hugo laughed, suddenly feeling more relaxed.
"That's okay. We can just start on our date," Hugo answered. "So where did you want to go?"
