You were sitting on a rock at the edge of the ocean, staring out into the vast seas, a little more vast to you since you were only one inch in height. You sighed as you stared at the fish below, wishing you could jump in and have a relaxing swim, but you would ultimately end up being eaten by some sort of sea creature if you did.
You stood up and turned around, ready to go back home... but a large wave suddenly hit the rock you were on, pulling you into the ocean! You screamed as you fell into the water, all of the fish began to swim towards you as you struggled to stay afloat... and then you saw a larger creature swim up from the depths as well. You looked up, not wanting to see what kind of monstrosity was about to eat you, and then, you found yourself in a dark cave of sea water... you screamed before being spit out onto a... human hand?
You looked up to see the handsome face of a confused young man, his long brown hair shimmered as water dripped down his muscular pecs and arms.
"What... are you?" He asked "I thought you were a small fish, I was about to swallow you whole before I heard you screaming in my mouth!" He laughed.
You were just as confused as he was, until you looked down to see a green tail swishing in the water.
"W-wait a second... you're a merman?!" You gasped.
"Yep, I sure am little fella! Name's Dover, what the heck are you? I've never seen a human this tiny before, you're kinda cute!" Dover ruffled your hair with his large finger.
"I-I was cursed a long time ago... and now I'm stuck like this." You explained.
"Hmmm.... I like you! I'm gonna keep you!" Dover wiggled his tail happily.
"K-keep me?!"
"Mhmm, you're gonna be my special little human friend, doesn't that sound fun? I can use magic, I'll give you the power to breathe underwater and everything!" Dover said excitedly.
