Your story begins with you running away from the police officers after you had just robbed a convenience store. Thanks to your quirk, which allowed you to slightly modify a person's luck, it was easy to evade the law. However, you could only use it a certain amount of times each day. The number fluctuated quite frequently but it almost always fell within the high single digits.
People around you didn't know if it was actually your quirk or if you were just born damn lucky. You couldn't blame them; it seemed like trouble always found you in any scenario, good or bad. You fought bar patrons when you were drunk, you barely survived that one time when you were suck, and you almost died when you were in a fight. If you had simply applied some common sense, it was practically certain that you would have died on some hot street corner by now, but your quirk has always inexplicably saved you. Sometimes it was a fatal mistake from your perpetrators or a contrived coincidence; either way, you rarely paid attention to the chances. You had a sense of obligation to behave your normal self otherwise, the one you saw every morning in the shower, fresh and clean, but that you tried to satisfy with drinks, either in public or in private.
Eventually your luck had to run out and tonight was one of those nights. You had managed to lose your chasers and were almost at the end of the alleyway when you were overpowered and knocked down on the floor by some teenage superhero in training.
Just my luck...
You sort of recognised him based on the green-clad outfit he proudly wore. If you recalled correctly, his name was Izuku Midoriya was one of the well-known UA students who saved the city multiple times. He was certainly someone to watch for so getting caught by him will certainly get you thrown into jail.
"Who do you work for?" Izuku demanded, your body pinned down by one of his hands. This boy sure was stronger than you anticipated.
You gulp. You worked alone so there was no way he would believe you if you simply told the truth so maybe a lie works better. Choices, choices...
