Well, it's a safe bet that the ground floor has the most room to search. If you are going to find this key, then you'll need to search as much as you can as fast as you can. Ignoring both sets of stairs, you head through the large doors. You then see a large hallway with branching halls and doors.
Just like out in the main room, the walls of this hall are covered in portraits of the three ladies and their conquests. Just how many poor souls have walked these halls before you? How many couldn't do what you are trying to do? Do you even have a chance at surviving this, let alone winning the grand prize?
No, you can't be thinking like that right now. You needed to find that key and get the fuck out of here before you faced the same fate as these guys, maybe worse. Negative thinking was only going to play you into their hands. You are down to fifty five minutes now, so you needed to start looking if you ever wanted to get out.
The only problem was, there were a lot more rooms than you were expecting. There were about two dozen doors in this main hallway alone. You still had the side halls and the up and downstairs to search. It could take the full hour just to go through half of this floor.
It then occurs to you that there could be even more than just three floors. If their trickery could hide the true size of this place on the inside, then who knows how many floors this place could have that you couldn't see. Only now do you fully realize how utterly fucked you are now. Well, it's too late to go back now, you had to start somewhere.
