The Stone Age

         For as long as you can remember, your kind had been hunter-gatherers, roaming the wilderness of Great Sedimar, fleeing from the gargantuan beasts that roamed it. Your kind would have perished long ago if not for other species that had emerged roughly at the same time as humans. These species varied in size and shape but they were always bigger than humans by a long shot. They could have easily used humans as a food source or bait for larger game, but rather saw them as a resource and an ally. Humans helped keep their camps clean and helped with making tools and getting into places they couldn't reach. On rare instances there were clans out there that DID see humans as a meal, so if you were a nomad or refugee you had to approach new camps with caution. You were a human who....
