Tanner glanced over his shoulder. The dakimakura of Keikio lay right where he left it. As much as he loved Keikio—the way she always listened to him when he griped about some of the idiots online, the way she kept him warm and supported at night, and the hundred other little things that made him love her—a small part of his mind always thought it wasn’t enough. With the power of this computer though, he could remedy that small matter and make her even better than she was.
Spinning back to face the screen, he closed the rather titillating journal left on screen and brought the command interface to the forefront. Then his fingers started dancing across the keyboard. Tanner’s many years of entertainment consumption had included far more than a few cases of characters plagued by wishes twisted to bite them in the ass. This experience granted him a rather acute awareness of how to avoid such things from happening.
He continued to type and type for far longer than most people likely would have. He was careful to account for every way his wish might end up corrupted and how to counter them. He reviewed his work time and again. He even read it out to Keikio so that she could help him find any potential flaws. Despite all his care, he encountered a few problems, but spotted and corrected them.
When he finished, he sat back and looked over what he had typed one last time. Then, turning his gaze back to Keikio, he hit the enter key. The effect was immediate. The server rack behind him groaned like a beast possessed. Keikio gave a sudden lurch. Tanner leaned closer as she lurched again, even stronger. The lurching soon became a constant wiggling and shifting. A bulge tented the fabric before a tearing sound cut through the air. A flood of stuffing rushed out, obscuring what was happening.
When it stopped, the stuffing was gone as if was never there. The pillow lacked Keikio’s smiling face and hot body. There was a faded outline where he could still she where she should have been. He noted that for a brief moment, but his attention much more focused on the beautiful figure standing before him as real as the nose on his face.
