You figure that the least messy way to get out of this dog's life and back to yours soon would be to swap with your mother. It wasn't as direct as you'd want, but it was better than swapping with strangers where there was a risk of screwing reality up beyond repair. You aim at your mother through the window, and see the display once more.
Obviously, you selected the 'Life' option, which showed you in your mother's clothes and your mother, naked, on her hands and knees, and while you didn't have much of a problem with showing off your own nudity in public you still weren't entirely sure about leaving your mother like that even if she wouldn't know, and resolved to make her at least human again as soon as you could. Hopefully you'd just be able to send Princess back into her own life as soon as you saw her, which would just leave you and your mother in each other's lives - and as someone who'd been living it for over 17 years, you were pretty sure it was a lot better than running around naked as a dog.
However, a part of you wondered. For life swap targets that weren't you that didn't know about the swap, they would, presumably, just act as the person they were in the life of. If you swapped bodies as well, then on top of having done a truly physical swap that would actually match the life you were in, when you saw Princess in your life, you could swap lives and bodies and have your mother back to... normal... ? Of course, besides the fact you'd then also have to swap your body back, part of your brain knew it wasn't actually any better since it'd really just be Princess looking and acting exactly like Mum, but another thought emerges - with your neighbor having just moved in, you weren't exactly going to be lacking in opportunities to switch them back, and it might be fun to be aware Mum technically wasn't Mum for a moment. Also, it'd be less awkward for you to be seeing your body naked outside than your mother's.
Then again, thinking on the fun side of things, you could also take the opportunity to make another kind of swap - maybe just some body parts, or make your mother's situation a little better by giving her her clothes back, which raised it's own contemplations, but first you weighed the two you'd already thought up.
