A few hours later, your eyes slowly opened and you yawned as you stretched your arms. As you stretched, you realized that there was something held firmly in one of your hands. The envelope. You quickly sat up and inspected the envelope.
"Didn't I leave that on the counter?" you asked. "Eh, maybe I didn't."
You sighed and started to open the envelope, pulling the tab and opening the top. Pulling out the contents, you discovered... a photograph. An 8x10 glossy photograph. Certainly not worth all the effort the delivery girl had put into delivering it, though subject of the photo was slightly confusing.
Blinking a few times as your eyes adjusted from sleep, you saw that the photograph was of a woman, you didn't recognize the room she was in, but could tell that she was somewhere important, as the dress appeared to be rather formal and she was wearing heels and full makeup. She even held a clutch purse in her hands to complete the ensemble.
"Wow, she's kinda hot." you remarked as you flipped the photo over, seeing a date written near the top. "That's in like... a week, right? Wonder why that date is on the photo."
Regardless, still strange that his photo was sent to you. Maybe it was a mistake? But the courier had the right name, so... You flipped the photo over again and started to look at the woman's face. Maybe you knew her from somewhere? She did look vaguely familiar to you. Something about her eyes... Why was she so familiar?
