You’re at a Victoria’s Secret getting your girlfriend a pair of fancy underwear for her birthday per her request.

“Are you sure you wouldn’t want something else? Concert tickets? Jewelry? Do you really want me to go to that store to get you underwear?”

You reflect on the conversation you had.

“I thought men loved going to that store.”

“Not me, it makes me uncomfortable being in there.”

“Pick me up something that strikes your eye and it’ll be worth your while.”

The conversation ended. “Maybe I can just get her some perfume or something and get out of here.” You ponder, but realize that she wouldn’t be happy with that gift. “Maybe a gift certificate and she can pick something out herself.” But gift certificates seem a bit hokey.

“Just get in and get out” you say to yourself.
