Arceus was bored.
The Hall of Origen has been quiet for a while. Too quiet, at least for her. The Hall of Origen was a temple above Earth in the heavens (Arceus's Dimension) where legendaries come to discuss matters in an orderly fashion.
Wel, it's supposed to be an orderly fashion. But it's usually a time and place where legendaries can express there hate for each other, and then start rivalries, and then try to kill each other, and have Arceus step in stop them.
But as of late, things have...peaceful.
There was no more fights, no more shouting, no more threats to destroy anyone, no more actual trying to kill someone. For the first time in centuries, there was a total peace among the Legendaries.
...Arceus hated it.
She sighed a great deep sigh as she contemplated her thoughts in her room. Arceus didn't really need a room, since she doesn't have to sleep, but she had it made just the same. Despite it being a complete annoyance to her, Arceus missed the fighting in the Hall. Sure, in those days the world almost was destroyed, like, 15 times in only a couple of years, but at least there was something to do!
Now, she just lazing around the Hall of Origen, trying to find something to distract her from her boredom.
"I might as well check in on the chosen one and see how he's doing." Arceus moaned to herself. That was the most recent of her thoughts since the boredom kicked in:Ash. Ash had made an impression on her when she met/ saved by him. He was selfless, passionate about his Pokemon, would do anything to earn there respect, no wonder he was the Chosen One.
Arceus walked to the observatory room. It had a large, glass dome in the middle of it where the earth showed floating in space. "Show me the Chosen One" Arceus said.
The image of Earth magnified on Ash's location. It zoomned in on Unova, where Ash, Cilan, and Iris were resting at a Pokemon Center. There, Arceus saw the nineteen-year-old currently feasting away on food, one of hos favorite pastimes.
Arceus noticed how happy ash looked after finishing his meal, his content smile while rubbing his slightly swollen stomach. "Huh" Arceus said to herself "I wonder what so special about food". Arceus had never actually eaten food before. She was a legendary, they don't get hungry (or full for that matter) and they don't need any extra energy.
But seeing Ash smile like that because of food, Arceus was generally intrigued by the concept of eating now. Unfortanetly, there was no food in the Hall of Origen, so she would have to go to earth if she wanted food.
Suddenly, it dawned on her. She had something to do, an excuse to get out and finnally do something fun! She nearly leaped for joy at the realization.
"Calm down, calm down," Arceus told herself. "Now... I think its time for a well needed vacation from being a goddess." Arceus started to glow a bright white light."And who better to help me relax..." Arceus filled the room with light now.
"...than the king of gluttony himself, Ash Ketchum?" Arceus giggled as she teleported to Earth.
