(Spoilers for some of Bernadetta's supports with the Black Eagles)
"Bernie," Byleth said quietly as she continued to hold her shyest student in a hug. "Of course we'd care if you disappeared."
"Y-you're our professor," Bernadetta mumbled. "It's your job to say that."
"No," Byleth insisted, gripping her a little tighter. "I'm saying it because I care. And so do Edelgard and the others. We'd all miss you if you disappeared to become a Borrower."
Bernadetta was silent as she considered this.
"Edelgard's proud of all the progress you've made in being less scared of her. Ferdinand and Caspar worry about you being cooped up in your room all the time. And Dorothea's wanted to be your friend for a while now."
The ground beneath them began to shake as the songstress's dance took her closer to their hiding spot.
"Come on, Bernadetta, Why don't you give being a normal-sized human one more chance?"
"O,,, okay," Bernadetta agreed. "Um... but the potion doesn't have an antidote. Or at least, I didn't bother to buy it... Oh no! That means you're trapped at this size too!"
"It's fine, Bern. I'll handle it." Byleth raised her hand up expectantly.
"Sorry," Sothis apologized from within Byleth's mind. "You used the Divine Pulse too much when you were avoiding being crushed by the girl outside. I need rest before you can turn back time again..."
"Damn it," Byleth muttered. Seeing Bernadetta's confused, concerned look, she flashed the archer another gentle smile. "It's fine, Bernadetta. We'll just get Dorothea's attention, and she'll bring us to someone who can help."
"N-not Professor Casagranda!" Bernadetta insisted. "She'll eat you so she can be the prettiest professor!"
"No she wouldn't," Byleth assured her. "Not while she's sober, anyway."

"Hmm... still stumbling a little bit on the finale," sighed Dorothea. "Once more from the top! Concentrate, Dorothea. Remember, this is for the Professor. Imagine she's in here with you..."
Closing her eyes, Dorothea began to hum the music as she began to dance once again, soon getting carried away enough for the humming to turn to singing. Byleth and Bernadetta emerged from under her bed to find the young titaness gliding across the room, her eyes shut and her voice ringing far more loudly than theirs had any chance to.
"Well," Byleth sighed. "This complicates things."
The ball of Dorothea's foot slammed into the floor directly in front of them, shaking Byleth up and causing Bernadetta to shriek and cower behind her.
"P-professor, maybe I should wait in the makeup case. I'll just slow you down..."
"Sorry, Bern," Byleth kept a firm grip on her student. "It's not that I don't trust you not to run off again, but... well... I don't trust you not to run off again."
"That's fair," Bernadetta sighed.
Byleth scanned Dorothea's room. Now that Bernadetta was with her and time travel was out of the question for now, she was extremely reluctant to go anywhere near the titanic dancer's feet.
"We need to get to higher ground," Byleth decided. "Come on, we should be able to climb to the top of her bed from here."
Thankful that Dorothea hadn't bothered to make her bed, Byleth took the reluctant archer to where the bedsheet reached the floor and the duo began to climb.
"Wh-what'll we do once we get to the top?" Bernadetta asked.
"We wait until she's done practicing," Byleth told her. "Then we'll call out to her."
And hope she hears us and doesn't mistake us for bugs, Byleth thought to herself, not wanting to worry Bernadetta to the point that she'd flee again.
As the duo almost reached the top of the bed, the singing stopped as Dorothea...
