The Park

Carter was spending the day at the park, as his mom had taken them there. She had told him that whenever he needed to pee or poop, he should tell her that he needs to go to the bathroom so she can take him there or try to go there on his own. She had been trying unsuccessfully to get Carter to use the potty since he was two years old, with such methods as bribing him with candy, letting him pick out his own potty, and potty-training books and videos. Now he was six years old, old enough to use the big toilet like normal kids his age. Carter, however, was not one to use the bathroom so easily, as he preferred to play on the playground and didn't want to have to stop playing to use the bathroom. He preferred to go whenever and wherever he liked. This was why he was still in training pants while other kids his age had moved on to wearing underwear.
