Chapter #8

The next day at school

    by: HikerAngel Author IconMail Icon
The next morning, Brian resolved to ask Brie to the dance with him. At five feet tall, he had never had the nerve to ask a girl out. But this was Brie, his bestie! If there anyone that should say yes, it should be her. He had been developing a crush on her for a while... since well before she had started her recent growth spurt to rival Jillian. Why hadn't he asked her before she started to become more beautiful? What if she rejected him now? He might have had a chance with her then...

He let out a long, slow breath. He had to stop thinking like this! If he didn't, he was never going to ask her out. And he wanted to. He sooooo wanted to. He imagined the girl on his arm. Her long, flowing red hair. The cute spray of little freckles that splashed across her nose. Her increasingly spectacular breasts. Her longer, shapelier legs. He felt a wave of desire wash over him.

He didn't care what his chances were with Brie now. He needed to give this a try. He wanted her, and he began to gain a strange feeling of confidence that he would have her. This was the day.

As Brian entered the school, he walked straight toward Brie’s locker. No excuses, no delays—he was going to walk up to his friend, look her right in her beautiful eyes, and ask her to the dance.

He strode confidently and quickly toward her, closing in. Closer… Closer… Her eyes turned his way, and she smiled. He began to open his mouth to speak, just a few steps away from her now…

And Jim, the varsity quarterback, stepped right in front of him. Brian’s smashed into the huge, bounced off, and fell backwards to the floor. The quarterback didn’t even seem to notice, or, at least, care. Brian listened as Jim asked Brie to the dance, and his heart dropped.
