Ruby absolutely wanted to use it on her team and ran to her dorm with a smile on her face. When she arrived she saw her best friend Weiss sitting there. She smiled upon seeing her she was perfect. Ruby started to write something down.
Weiss is my best friend. She smiled at this, now to see if it works.
"Hey Weiss." She beamed, she looked up to her, and smiled.
"Hey Ruby, how's my best friend doing?" She greeted. Ruby was overjoyed that it worked. She sat next to her.
"I wanted to see what you were doing." Ruby told her.
"I was simply getting ready for today, I have to deal with Jaune's advances again, ugh!" Weiss groaned.
"He's not that bad, once you get to know him." Ruby told her.
"If that is true then tell him to stop pestering me about a date I don't want, maybe I'll consider tolerating him." Weiss replied.
"I'll tell him to tone it down, but you should at least give him one chance, it won't kill you." Ruby mentioned.
"I rather not." Weiss rolled her eyes. "I have someone else in mind."
"You mean that Neptune guy?" She asked.
"Why not, he's smart, handsome and charming." Weiss gushed.
"He's also a flirt, I saw him flirting with Coco earlier before she shot him down." Ruby mentioned.
"That jerk!" She growled "Never mind then, I guess there's nobody."
"That's not true many people like you." Ruby mentioned.
"Yeah, for my status, even Arc." Weiss sighed.
"How do you know, you won't give him a chance, at any rate I see you for who you are." Ruby told her.
"Thanks, I'm glad you do." She smiled at her, Ruby felt weird all of the sudden. Why do I feel hot? She was confused, but she shook it off. "As for Arc, I don't know."
"All you have to do is give him the one date, if you still don't like him then that's that." Ruby advised.
"I guess one won't hurt, and he better make it count." Weiss decided.
"I'll go tell him." Ruby told her.
"Thanks, I'm glad you're my best friend." Weiss smiled, Ruby felt hot again but smiled back. The two of them hugged, Ruby for some reason didn't want to pull away.
"Hey Ruby, you can pull back." Weiss mentioned, a bit concerned.
"Huh, oh, sorry." Ruby blushed and did so.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"I don't know, I never felt this way before." Ruby was confused.
"What is it?" Weiss asked.
"I don't know." Ruby said again, "I'm just, happy to be with you I guess."
"I am too, I trust you, you helped me a lot when I needed you." Weiss smiled.
"Thanks." Ruby blushed.
"I'll help you through this okay Ruby?" She comforted.
"Yeah, thanks." Ruby smiled, she honestly had no idea what was going on, she didn't even want her to go out with Jaune. She had no idea what was going on, she thought about using the book to help her out, get Weiss to tell her without freaking out. Or she could ignore it and decide to help Weiss get ready for her date.
