Ruby gives herself a new power.

Ruby loved her speed, but who could resist giving herself some cool new power.

“What would be cool?” Ruby mused, kicking her feet. ”Polarity… nah, I shouldn’t copy Pyrrha. Let’s start with something simple like Flying? How cool would it be to fly around like a superhero? I could totally wear a mask and save people. Super Ruby! Nah, can’t sue my name. Names can wait I guess. Or…”

She remembered something Yang said to her yesterday.

“If you love Crescent Rose so much, it’s going to merge with your arm.”

That gave Ruby an amazing idea.

“What if I can fuse with things?” Ruby gasped. “I could be one with Crescent Rose.” She imagined herself being a living weapon. “Oh my god. That will be amazing! No Grimm would stand a chance!”

She lowered the pen to the page and prepared to write.
