New Power

Jaune was not a complex guy. Once he realized the book was real, he had to use it. Of course, the first thing he wanted to do was give himself some cool power he could have fun with. Though, absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely, so he wasn’t thinking about the repercussions of what he was going to do. Nope, it was all about him right now. The first ability that popped into his mind was a common, but very accepted power among online people. After all, it allowed someone to enjoy themselves in ways they never could.

Mind control.

Yep, Jaune wanted the power to control other people. No more being laughed at, no more being rejected, no more being looked down on. Nope, he would be the one in charge. Imagining what he could do with that made him drool a little. Weiss wouldn’t be able to reject him, maybe he’ll get Yang to let him feel her up. The sky was the limit. Smiling, he began to write down his new dream.

I have the power to control people’s minds.

Instantly, Jaune realized how to do it. All he would have to do is stare at someone and imagine using his power. It would put them in a trance where he could give them orders, suggestions, triggers, whatever he wanted. They would be powerless to resist. Jaune could have changed how his power worked, but he was fine with this for now to practice.

Now the question was who?

He was in the library, so choices were limited, or he could go out and find himself a target.
