You and Stacy quickly came to a consensus that you wanted to head to Adventure Land, the exciting and awesome amusement park. After telling your mom, the three of you gathered your belongings and piled into the car (after Shannon got dressed, of course). The hour-long car ride to the park was fairly uneventful, as Stacy held you securely in the palm of her hand for the entire ride.
Once reaching the park, you and your family paid for your tickets, grabbed a park map, and walked inside the front gates of Adventure Land. There were drop towers, roller-coasters, and so much more, as far as the eye could see. You could barely take it all in. You also noticed the packed crowds of people rushing around in every direction.
“What are we going to go do first?” Stacy asked, glancing down at you.
“I’m not sure. I’d be down for just about anything.” You replied.
“Don’t give me that.” Stacy teased. “You know I can be so indecisive. If you leave it up to me, we’ll be standing here all day.”
“I’d like to go see a show.” Shannon offered. “The older I get, the more I feel like throwing up on some of these rides.”
“That could be fun.” You mused, rubbing your chin thoughtfully.
“Thrill rides are right up my alley.” Stacy smiled. “Hopefully my little brother isn’t too scared to ride them with me.”
“Are you challenging my manliness?” You cried, mockingly pretending to be offended. In truth, you were quite scared. There were thousands of random strangers in the park today, and a million different ways that everything could go wrong.
“Well Sammy?” Your mother looked at you expectantly. “What are you going to do?”
