An alien species has some fun by disbursing colorful orbs that grant different superpowers

An alien species disburses colorful orbs that grant different superpowers all over the globe.

Blue orbs grant super-strength
Red orbs grant super-speed
Yellow orbs grant invulnerability
Gray orbs grant super-intelligence and telekinesis
Green orbs grant the ability to permanently alter one's physical appearance
Purple orbs grant powers of flight
White orbs grant healing powers
Black orbs grant the ability to become invisible

It is possible for someone to use more than one orb... ;)
