On the outside of the Uzumaki Estate, many villagers assumed that the marriage and life of the Uzumaki family was picture-perfect. A story and example of how hard work can truly pay off, how the lowest of the low could rise to such incredible heights. With two promising children, a beautiful wife and a dashing Hokage, the Uzumaki family was looked at quite positively from the everyday villager.
However, the Uzumaki family was far from a perfect family
In fact, if someone managed to closely observe the Uzumaki family without their rose-tinted glasses, then these poor villagers would realize that the dream they were casually watching unfold in front of them, was actually a nightmare in disguise.
The abject depravity and horrors that occurred within the residence were easily hid from the villagers. Since Naruto was the Hokage, he held the highest position of power anyone could possibly hold within the Hidden Leaf Village. Naruto had friends of many shapes and sizes and these eager few could essentially wipe Naruto's sins clean off. Or prevent them from ever escaping into the real world through intimidation, bribery, prosecution threats and other dastardly threats.
To say that Naruto Uzumaki was a terrible father would be a vast understatement. He was the definition of despicable. When it came to Boruto and Himawari, Naruto never gave two shits about them. He regarded his own kids as nothing more than whimpering mutts infected with fleas. As any person would do with a puppy with fleas, they would simply shoo them away or ignore them. Furthermore, Naruto never even provided for his own children. As the Hokage, Naruto was granted an incredible flow of income, a constant stream of cash of unimaginable quantity. Unfortunately, Naruto spent very little on his family, buying extravagant furniture, expensive booze and quite possibly cheap prostitutes.
Of course, Hinata was displeased with her husband's incessant, frivolous spending, constant neglect of the family and his unfaithfulness. But whenever Hinata managed to muster up the courage to confront Naruto, she would be turned into Naruto's personal punching bag.
Yes, that is correct. Naruto would beat his own wife. Although, 'beat' is a slight minimization of the severity.
Naruto would brutally abuse Hinata. The blonde would pummel and scrape away at Hinata, until she was an unrecognizable mess of bruises and scratches. Just for speaking up to Naruto's delinquency, Hinata would be beaten to within an inch of her life. But her mistreatment did not stop at Naruto's fists. Hinata had been bound to the household, reduced to a shell of her former self. Hinata could no longer interact with the outside world or mingle with friends. Naruto wanted his wife completely isolated from the outside world, for reasons no one could think of. Naruto also forced his wife to be relegated to cleaning duties, essentially treating his own wife as some sort of slave. This included cleaning the entire manor, taking care of the children, cooking meals and other subservient, 'wifely' duties. Naruto expected the only pleasure in his wife's life should be domesticity, or by his own need for pleasure.
Of course, Himawari and Boruto could easily tell what was going on. They always heard their father viciously beating their mother, the pained whines of Hinata slaving away throughout the household and the weary smiles that the once bright Hyuuga forced for her own children. Currently, these two children were mulling over the situation in the room they currently shared. It had been, at least to Boruto and Himawari, necessary to sleep together to comfort themselves from Naruto's abusive behavior.
"He can't keep getting away with this..." Boruto groaned in annoyance, kicking a nearby toy which belonged to Himawari. The eldest child had been saddened, over hearing a mental breakdown that his mother had experienced only moments prior. Suddenly, Himawari, who had just been laying on the bed, motionless, stood up with a sense of pride.
"Then we give him a taste of his own medicine!" Himawari exclaimed. Boruto looked perplexed at Himawari, both scared for her safety and ultimately concerned of what plan Himawari had in mind.
"Hima, it's impossible to go against dad!" Boruto exclaimed with hopelessness. "He's the Hokage of this village! He has all the power in the world and is one of the most powerful shinobi to ever exist. How do you expect to stop him?" Boruto asked.
"Simple!" Himawari exclaimed. "We just have to...."
