Suki and James sneak off campus by shrinking

“I’ll probably regret agreeing to this.” James said, Suki interjecting with a second ‘probably’ but letting him speak “But if you had any ill intent it’s not like I’d be able to stop it... N-not that I think you do or any-“

This time Suki actually cut him off. “Your panic is cute but save it for yokai/monsters.” Again with the translator bug. That specific glitch was gonna get old really fast. “You can relax around me, promise.” She said then snapped her fingers and instantly proved herself wrong

The two were looking up, way up. Everything around them was titanic. They were maybe two inches tall each, if that. Suki took it in stride and started walking towards the wall “And now we head off school property, I grow us back, and we get our preferred lunch~ Do you have money on you?”

“I did this morning.” James hurried to follow her.

“Whatcha spend it on?”

“I didn’t.” James replied, not needing to explain for it to be clear it was stolen.

“you get bullied alot, huh?” Suki asked without looking back, hands behind her head.

“Yeah.” James said glumly

“Well I’ll protect you.” Suki turned her head and smiled.

Wait what?! “Wait what?!”

“You heard me, but I’ll repeat.” she stopped and turned around, waiting for a pause in the cacophony “I’ll protect you.”

Success on the first try? Lucky you! “Th-thank you.” Was all you managed to say as you both reached the mousehole and someone your size stepped out. A nezumimi who was...
