The two of you talked for a while, and you were surprised by the number of common interests you shared. Outside of working out she admitted to enjoying a lot of the same videogames, tv shows, and movies as you and here ears always perked up whenever you mentioned something she enjoyed. She seemed extremely exited if a little embarrassed to have someone to talk to about this stuff with. Apparently in many monster circles enjoying human entertainment is seen as taboo. As you talked you felt yourself growing calmer and more comfortable by the second, you smiled and closed your eyes leaning into her more feeling her soft warm fur and the well defined muscles underneath.
Sasha was glad her fur kept her blushing hidden. she had initially pulled you close to her both as a show of dominance and affection. she expected you to be submissive and scared but instead you seemed to relax into her as you two talked, and for a human to not only be at ease so close to a monster but welcome there embrace it was more than a little shocking to her. Her hidden blush deepened as she realized she actually really liked you beyond just looking cute and tasty. You understood a side of her she hid from other monsters and she found your idle conversation and company quite comforting. When you finally asked her out as the end of period bell rang she was only surprised to realize you hadn't already asked her.
The two of you became fast friends. You started going over to her house on weekends to play videogames, watch movies, and talk, usually cuddling together all the while and thanks to your love of dogs you knew all the right spots. belly rubs, chin scritches, behind the ears, and that spot just below the chest that gets there back leg's kicking. You knew all the right ways to please her. she found it a little embarrassing at first but You found her mix of ecstasy and embarrassment funny. Like she never wanted you to stop or leave her side but hated the idea of being as easy to please as a lapdog.
Other large monsters were giving you a wide birth now instead of lurking around hoping for a quick meal. You had actually managed to forget that protection was the reason you had approached her in the first place. You just enjoyed spending time with her and loved everything about her. Her soft fur, the way she was so gentle and compassionate despite her size and strength, the way she laughed, how her eyes caught the light. For the first time in your life you felt safe you were happy and above all you were in love.
