Possibly the four most beautiful monsters at the high school (in James' opinion, anyway) were also the nerdiest as well as being the deadliest. Among themselves, the four female monsters were diffident, sometimes comically so. They tended to ignore outsiders, unless an outsider mocked one of the four friends or their rpg pastimes. Then the response tended to be fatal.
Most people consider Marcy the leader of the four friends, though she would deny it. Her human form is that of a five foot tall shapely Chinese woman; her dragon form is a fifteen foot long golden dragon. In either form, Marcy is a formidable foe.
Next there is LuCi, a six inch tall Latina beauty with monarch butterfly wings. Disney propaganda not withstanding, fairies are perhaps the deadliest monsters in the world. They are almost invulnerable to any form of attack, and a glowing fairy can punch a hole through solid rock. So flesh and blood represents no problem.
Then there is Snowy the gnome who, if she was five foot seven rather than three foot tall, would have no problem becoming a member of the Swedish bikini team. Snowy was MacGyver on steroids. She always had four or five tiny inventions on her, some merely debilitating, others fatal.
Finishing up the four was T'Kila, the daughter of a high elf father and drow mother. Her skin was near night black, but was not so sensitive that it smoked when it was exposed to sunlight. Her white, thick lustrous hair cascades down a shapely firm body that stands five and a quarter feet tall. No one outside the four friends has ever heard T'Kila's voice.
The four friends are sitting around their usual lunch table, with everyone but T'Kila excitedly talking about a new gaming system they've discovered and T'Kila listening happily to the discussion. As James approached the table, the woman at the table
