If you were going to use someone you knew that wasn't in your immediate family or otherwise, then two girls came to mind immediately.
The first idea was to pair yourself with your cute 19-year old neighbor, Sophia Talbott (https://i.pinimg.com/originals/39/f2/f3/...). She was a pretty thing with a warm and sunny disposition, a total opposite to your 'Queen Bitch' sister, Victoria. You wouldn't say you were especially close with her but she was always friendly with you when you did interact with her.
The fact that she was very pretty and treated you kindly had you sporting a not-so-tiny crush on her. So that made her a good choice to run in the "Soulmate Simulator".
Or...
Or you could try it with one of your high school classmates, a lovely blonde girl by the name of Lindsay Riker (http://www.imagebam.com/image/d172871328...). She was kind of an oddity, if you were honest. She was on the school dance team and was definitely with the "IN" crowd yet she didn't go out of her way to treat you or your little circle of friends like shit. She never went out of her way to interact with you, but when she was paired with you for projects in class, she treated you kindly.
That gave her a lot of points in your book.
That being said, there were more than just those two, you had plenty of other ideas.
