"HEY Stacey wait up!" You shout to catch up with her. She turns around and gives a small wave for you to follow before continuing on. " why are you going off on your own?" You ask.
"Its always such a hassle to be with the group, feeling everyone's eyes on you all the time. Plus I wanted to explore the island." She responds" you wanna hear a story?" She asks you as you two keep moving. " sure." You reply while trying to not just stare at her daisy dukes around her tight ass. "Well according to legend around three thousand years ago when the first natives, called the topunmo, came to this island, they were barley able to survive. When the tribe was starving to death and it seemed all was lost, until the tribe leader made a desperate gamble." At this point you and stacey had already gone far up the trail towards the top of the island. You notice the sun beginning to go down.
"This leader apparently contacted a being only referred to in wall paintings as the Dark Mother. This being apparently was able to make the topunmo people live forever without need of food or water, with enhanced strength and speed. All it would cost them was their life essence. When the tribe did this however, they became trans mutated into tall thin monstrous dog faced creatures that can only survive outside of sunlight.
The dark mother however provided them with an artifact known as the deamun ritus that imbued this group with the magical abilities to steal the souls of humans and possess their bodies. Or so the legend goes." Stacy says after realizing that most of what she said bounced off your head.
"Wow it's a lot darker than I thought it would get." Stacy says as you near the end of the trail. You realize that this seems pretty romantic as you can look out over the island from here and see the ocean. You begin to get nervous as you hear something in the bushes around you. "Did you hear that." You wisper to stacy not wanting to admit how unnerved you were by her tale. As you say that a giant purple black dog faced demon jumped out of the bushes and roars towards you. What do you do?
