It was only a few weeks before Aang would have to face the fire lord, as much as he's trained he still feels unready and unsure of himself, after all he failed once before. In a desperate attempt for help Aang mediated for 15 hours straight, hoping to gain guidance through the spirits or one of his last lives primarily Avatar Roku. After hours of concentration he was nearly at his limit, he was just preparing to get some sleep when he began feeling faint and nearly fell over. After a few moments everything went black for the young Avatar.
Aang slowly came to and began to scan his surroundings for anything familiar but he had never seen this place before, he sat on a a circular symbol made of stone and was surrounded by abnormally shaped and sized trees. He stood up from his seated position only to be met with a familiar sight, the form of one of his past lives Avatar Kyoshi. Aang hadn't heard her approach nor had he seen her there before, yet here she was standing in front of him like she had been there all this time. After only a few short moments the apparition before him began to speak.
"I understand you are seeking guidance, I can help you if you are ready." Kyoshi spoke with confidence as if she was sure Aang would accept without even needing to ask.
"Where are we, and how did I get here?" Aang was still recovering from his abrupt awakening, he had not been able to process everything going on around him. Even if Aang had been given more time, he would not have been able to guess where he was and why he was there anyways.
"We're in the spirit world, this is an area I created myself so that we could be alone. Here there will be no distractions from the outside world, spirit or not." Kyoshis voice had an otherworldly sound too it, her words almost seemed to echo off nothing and reached Aang directly.
"How would you be able to help me here? What would you even be able to teach me?" Aang asked, puzzled by Avatar Kyoshis methods.
"I can put you through a training regiment that will increase your strength and endurance exponentially, but i warn you young Avatar this method will be intense and you will not be able to stop until it is fully completed." Kyoshi spoke. Aang thought for a moment before giving her his answer.
"I need to be stronger so I'll do it, I'm ready." Aang was sure of himself, he needed to do this because he saw no other way. Kyoshi smiled slightly and walked toward him.
