Following a strange meteor shower, in which strange glowing particles could be seen falling from the sky, the region of Kanto began experiencing a phenomenon thought to only happen in the Galar region: Power Spots began appearing, locations where Dynamax energy leaked out to be harnessed by Pokemon with a Wishing Stone. However, something was strange about this energy that baffled researchers, something they couldn't quite place... that is, until one person stumbled upon one of these spots.

(It was taking too long for one of these branches to go anywhere.)
