option 1: Not long after TRoS. Rey Skywalker unexpectedly finds herself on Tatooine in the past. Either before the events of Phantom Menace or during the events of Attack of the Clones.

option 2: During the Mirror Scene in Last Jedi, Rey falls through the mirror and finds herself either just before or during the Clone Wars. The Jedi give her the training she needs, but Rey finds herself drawn to the studly, well hung Clone Troopers.
