Ask to go with

You were curious about how this was going to turn out, so you asked to go with them. Your mom was kind of confused, but let you. You drove with your parents and met the others there. You were really curious about what would happen since your dad and Leona has such opposite personalities. Your dad was an old fashioned, kind of douchy, but funny guy. Leona was a very progressive, in shape, and nice person. As soon as you get in the car, you can tell some differences. Your dad instantly switches over to the pop station and keeps it on the whole way. About half way there you pass a lady walking 2 puppies, and you witness your dad release the loudest “awww” he ever has. You could tell your mom was suspecting something from her facial expressions.

When you get there, you see the other two walk up to the front door.

Rick: I didn’t know you liked rock so much, when did you start listening to Metallica?
Leona: For fucking ever, I love shredding that shit!
Rick: You play guitar?
