You decided that it would be best to find a fellow human to watch over you. While yes, you did trust Yamper, Pokemon couldn't exactly buy food and it would be risky having to deal with Trainers trying to battle Yamper.

You took that as an ok from Yamper. Yamper walked through the wild area, making sure to stay not only out of the way of trainers but also wild pokemon. You traveled across distant plains and bridges that seemed to span half a kilometer, despite knowing that the exact bridge was only 5 meters long earlier in a week. You peered around, gauging the various trainers that traveled through the Wild Area. You were looking for someone young and kind, as they would help you without ulterior motives, unlike some adults that would probably abuse the heck out of your small stature.
Most of the people in the Wild Area were big camper guys, breaking the rule about being young. They looked nice, sure, but people always gain a dark side to them as they grow up, it's just that most people tend to keep the darkness inside for fear of public prosecution or humiliation. After a whole day of adventuring you had almost given up for the day, wanting to tell Yamper to run into a bush somewhere to sleep the night, but it was then that fortune struck. You saw a camp with a bonfire in the near distance and ordered Yamper to run towards it. With a quick cry of its name, it bolted to the camp.
You inspected the trainer and saw that they were nice to their pokemon and were relatively young. It might've just been your reluctance to sleep in the open tonight, but you ordered Yamper to approach the trainer. The trainer was..
