When your Pokemon finally came out, you wore the hugest smile to it. With it brown fur and everything, you knew who it was. You were ecstatic to get an Eevee!
And she was just as excited! She pretty much went and jumped into your hands when she saw you. Of course, at this size it was something else.
“Eevee!” She said stretching her furry and bushy tail.
“Wow an Eevee!” Dawn said eyes wide.
“No fair, why do you get an Eevee!” Needless to say an Eevee was the most fan favourite Pokemon there was, alongside Mimikyu. Barry was jealous.
“Eev?” it questioned looking around. Of course confused as it didn’t see it’s training. A bit humiliating, but time to talk to it.
“Eevee, right here!” You say as your Pokemon turned around. Locking eyes with you, and bringing it’s face closer. “Hehe, yep i’m smaller. Had a little accident. Sorry, you probably wanted a bi-”
“Eevee!” She said happily before giving you a lick. One that wetted your body, but funnily enough showed you how much she liked you. She moved her nose and nestled you.
“Oh, thanks.” You say to your Pokemon happily.
“Well, your Pokemon still likes you.” Lucas said with a smile, as he watched down the scene. “Now, I don’t mean to be rude... but I gotta get going.”
“You are Lucas?” You say up to him.
“I just wanted to know what Pokemon you used, gotta make sure to stay ahead.” He said with a laugh. “Next time you and me see each other, get ready for a battle!”
“Well, hopefully i’ll be normal size, so I will take you up on that offer.” You say to your giant buddy with a smile. He gave a wave, and went off, only for Barry to yell.
“H-Hey, you don’t get a head start Lucas. If you do, I’ll fine you for 20,000 Pokedollars!” he said. “Uh it was nice meeting you, and good that you have your Pokemon back. I’m not gonna let you though, or anyone get ahead of me!”
“Yeah nice meeting you too Barry!” You say to the blonde giant. “Good luck with your training!”
“H-Hey Lucas I said hang on!” He said running after. Heavy foot steps as you saw large imprints in the grass. You look at the two giant boys walk off, as thankfully they were gone. You liked them, but you felt a bit hurt to your pride. Just comparing your size to them. Well you felt like less of a man, which is not something that you liked.
Although, that was something you seemed to have to have to accept.
Suddenly your Eevee nuzzled you even more with it’s nose as you chuckle. “Aww, thanks Eevee. Sorry about shrinking, i’ll try to do something about it.”
“Well your Eevee still loves you, that’s a good thing that she is such a loyal Pokemon.” Dawn moved her way down. You almost forgot she was hear, with the two louder boys. She got onto her knees and smiled.
“Eevee, this is Dawn. She carried me here, say Hello!”
“Vee!” She said happily facing Dawn, and to your surprise jumping up onto her lap. Giving her a hurt.
“Oh, she’s so friendly hehe.” Dawn laughed, a large smile. “It’s good that you got your partner back.”
“Yeah, will make this journey so much better. We already did a little training out here, so Eevee can handle herself.
“I need to do that with Piplup.” Dawn said patting the soft Pokemon, while you sat on the ball.
“Oh, I have a couple of Potions, a revive and Pokeballs if you wanna take it. It’s in my bag over there!”
“B-But that’s your stuff. a-”
“Not like I can use it Dawn.” You chuckle to her. “Consider this my thanks for helping me and carrying me over.”
After dealing with Lucas and Barry, it was sure nice meeting a boy who treated her with respect. She happily walked over and grabbed your bag, taking all your stuff and putting it in her bag. As she looked down at you, she had to admit.
The idea of grabbing you, and putting you in her bag did cross her mind. That was pretty mean though, she shouldn’t do it.
She didn’t want you to leave, dunno, Dawn kinda liked you. Unlike the other two, she didn’t feel confident leaving you by yourself. Even with your Eevee. “Well, do you want to travel with me?”
“Travel?” You questioned to her.
“I can carry your Pokeball, and this way you won’t be in total trouble. I’ve got a tent in my bag, and food.”
“I do need food.” You say back to her. “Geez Dawn that’s nice of you. I’ll take it up, but is there something I can do. You are helping me A LOT!”
“I’ll think about what you can do later.” She smiled down.
“Here that Eevee? We are going with her!”
“Eevee!” Your Pokemon said happily.
“Oh, your Pokemon is so cute!” Dawn remarked down to your Pokemon as she kept petting her. “I was gonna go through Route 202 and up to Jubilife City.”
“I’ve been there, I can give you a tour.” You smile up to her. Dawn wore a smile as she reached for you, grabbing you and placing you on her neck. She wrapped her pink scarf around you, given you a nice and comfortable place neat her smile. “You can call back Eevee?”
“Come back Eevee!” She said returning the normal Pokemon. It made her giggle, almost like it was her Pokemon. She put the Pokeball in the bag, before she asked. “What are you going to do?”
“Huh?”
“I mean, I know you want to be a Pokemon Trainer, but don’t you also want to focus on Mew. I’ll take you with me, but... I just want to know what you will do?” Dawn obviously asked this question with a lot of care.
