As you wake up, you take a look around. You see that you’re in some sort of small den dug into the ground. You can see the entrance off to one side, and light is coming in from the setting sun, allowing you to easily spot Rockruff. The Pokemon is curled up and sleeping nearby, breathing quietly and gently.
You can’t help but smile as you look at the gigantic sleeping puppy. She seems so cute like this, and part of you wants to run over to her and snuggle with her. But your smile fades when you remember how she toyed with you by licking you so much, and even grabbed you in her mouth to kidnap you, carrying you away from your apartment and your Indeedee. Not only was all of that scary and gross, it also means that you’re now somewhere out in the wilderness, possibly far away from home. And your only companion is a young Pokemon who seems to consider you a toy.
Fortunately, she’s asleep, and she isn’t trapping you in any way. You could easily escape if you wanted to. You’re unsure why she chose to go to sleep without securing you, but you’re glad she did, because there’s nothing stopping you from sneaking out of the den.
But what would you do then? You have no idea where you are, and since the sun is setting, there are sure to be plenty of nocturnal Pokemon sneaking around, ready to catch and eat any small Pokemon—or shrunken human—they can find. It may be safer to stay here with Rockruff. Even though she hasn’t really been gentle with you so far, at least she hasn’t eaten you, despite licking you a lot and putting you in her mouth. You feel confident that she isn’t planning to eat you. Even so, she might still play with you roughly, which could end badly.
What do you want to do? Do you want to stay with Rockruff and hope she’s gentle with you? Or would you rather sneak out into the wilderness, and try to get back to your apartment and your Indeedee?
