Trapped in the bubble, you float around in the air, unnoticed by the girl and her Popplio. You keep struggling against the bubble, but you give up once you realize that if you pop it, you’ll plummet to the ground and probably die. It’s safest to stay put and hope the bubble remains intact and floats back down before popping.
But instead, the bubble stays about 20 feet off the ground, and gets blown around by gusts of wind. Before long, you realize you’re being pushed away from the apartment building, along with various other bubbles. You can only watch as you and the group of bubbles are blown away into the wilderness, flying into the forest on the outskirts of the city. As they float through the woods, some bubbles pop at random, and others bump into tree branches and burst. Your bubble remains intact for a while, but you’re still frightened about where you’ll end up—or if you’ll even survive this experience. You’re still too high up to land safely if your bubble bursts.
Eventually, you pass a branch that has a Pokemon on it—a Rowlet! It’s a starter Pokemon here in Alola, but since this one is in the wilderness, and you don’t see any humans around, you assume it must be wild. The Rowlet is resting as it perches on the branch, but it perks up as it sees the bubbles floating by. However, because it’s at the same height as them, it easily spots you inside one bubble.
The Rowlet gasps and flaps its wings, then flies over. You watch it, happy that someone noticed you and can possibly help you—but also worried about what this wild Pokemon may do. It may decide to eat you, after all. For now, the Rowlet hovers in circles around your bubble, using the wind from its wings to keep your bubble in place. It’s watching you curiously, clearly surprised to see a tiny human.
But then it reaches out with its talons and lunges, using them to pop the bubble. Before you have a chance to fall, the talons of one foot wrap around your torso, pinning your arms to your sides and seizing you tightly. You flail your legs and squirm, as its tight grip hurts a bit, but the Rowlet ignores your struggles. It flies back to the branch and drops you on it, then perches beside you. The wild Pokemon looks down at you and cocks its head to the side, and you look up at it. You’re glad that it rescued you, but you’re still unsure if it’s friendly or not...
