Yamper keeps you pinned under her paws and starts panting, letting humid dog breath wash over you. She barks happily and gazes down at you, clearly enjoying your new size. At least she’s giving you a break from all the licking, but by now, you’re soaked in her drool, except for the parts of your body under her paws. You start to squirm again, and your loving Pokemon finally steps off of you, letting you get up.
“Alright, you’re done now, girl?” you say. “Cheers. But don’t do that again, okay? We’ve got to stay focused on finding that Mew. Now let me get on your back again.”
Yamper barks, wagging her tail as she lies down. You don’t know it, but she’s secretly planning to play with you again sometime. It was just so much fun. And even if you didn’t like it, she’s not planning to hurt you, so she thinks it’s okay if she plays around. Still, she does want to help you get back to normal, so you’ll be happy again. She’ll give you a ride for now, but she’s looking forward to playing later.
All of a sudden, she hears something. She growls and barks, and you stop before you can climb her. “What?” you ask. You see where she’s looking and you see a Growlithe come out of the grass. It’s bigger than Yamper, and it looks like a wild Pokemon. Even worse, it’s looking right at you. It seems curious about the tiny human, and walks closer.
Yamper keeps growling at it, and you get behind her and peek around her. The wild Growlithe wags its tail and barks, but it doesn’t seem hostile. It says some things, and Yamper talks to it. Yamper starts to calm down, and it seems like they’re starting to get along. Yamper wanted to protect you from it at first, so if she’s relaxing now, then she must have decided that the Growlithe is friendly.
Yamper steps aside and lets the Growlithe get a better look at you. The wild Pokemon walks over and lies down, trying to make itself look less intimidating. It’s wagging its tail and smiling at you, and you start to agree with Yamper. It definitely does look friendly, and you can bet it’s curious about you. It also looks cute—not as cute as Yamper—and you feel like it would be safe to walk up to it. But you’re not sure what to do.
